Bored, Gun Pix

Blowing Stuff to Smithereens...

Freakin' bored on a rainy Sunday, no where to go, too cold to go anyway. That's why I created this blogger account to post my random pictures of shit I like to do. One of my favorite hobbies is to shoot and collect guns. As a child growing up my I always wanted a bb gun, then a real gun. My mom never let me, and the closest thing I got were toy guns. When I was 16 I gave money to my older sister for her to buy me air rfles and airsoft guns. I grew outta of that phase by 17 and got my first gun at 19; a brand new Remington 870 20-GA Shotgun that my dad bought me. After that I would pick up a new rifle or shotgun when there is a price I cant say no to.

One of my favorite places to shoot is a small area in the woods past Northbend. I would bring bowling pins, clays, old electronics and destroy them for fun. Me and my cousins would spend hours wasting hundreds of rounds.

here are just a few pics...

Spokane Street Bridge Combat Fishin'

Urban Combat Fishing...

There is one hole in Seattle no more then 10 minutes away from my house where I can fill my freezer with Salmon w/ just 1-2hrs of fishing. No lie. In the middle of the heavily polluted, industrialized waterway of the Duwamish lies a spot where fishermen & snaggers come together and target Pink Salmon(Oncorhynchus gorbuscha). Pink's main run are an odd year species, meaning their run is every other year. So we had a run in the summer of 07', the previous run was in 05'. During the month of August I would wake up at 5am every other day to fish the bridge, with limits always every trip. It was so easy, some days I would get 12-18 hook ups. I had so much salmon I would give it away to family, friends and neighbors. Can't wait until summer of 09'!

btw, I also landed one of the biggest Pinks ever seen on the bridge. Most of the guys there thought it was either a king or coho. it had to weigh around 8-9lbs. CE'YEAH!

Darren & I KILLIN'

Soaked at the Skok...
These pictures were taken on November 12th 2007. Went fishing in the early AM with Jake and Darren. Forecast was that it was suppose to be a monsoon with rapid level rises. Another excellent day of fishing. Within my first couple casts I landed a nice chrome coho. Darren hooked and landed his first salmon on his first cast. At the end of the day we were soaked through our underlayers. We ended up with 6 chrome Ho's and 1 bright chum. We crushed them today. Can't wait until next August for the Kings.

Skok Blood Bath

Fishing on the Skok...

These photos were taken on the Skokmish River in Mason County, Washington back on November 11, 2007. I went fishing with Jake, Johnny, and my friends dad. We were in a piscatorial persuit of Coho Salmon(Oncorhynchus kisutch), most commonly known as "Silver" Salmon. The Skokomish River is about a 90min drive from Seattle and 10 miles from Shelton(a hick town that can kiss my ass, fucken bitches!). The run of the Coho and Chum is early to mid November with Chum returns always towering the Ho's, duh. We did fairly well I had numerous chum hook ups all day and kept two nice sized chrome Ho's and a bright chum. My friends dad who has never gone salmon fishing before had some hook ups but didnt manage to set the hook on time but did manage to bring home two dark chums. hightlight of the day was when he fell in the river trying to undo a snag, and all the white fishermen started laughing. oh and he kept saying "chunky, chunky" referring to chum salmon, i thought that was pretty funny and so did this white lady fishing next to us. omega-3 fatty acids is good for us.
